A site called Oggy Bloggy Ogwr leapt to Jac's defence in 2016 when at last, it looked as if he was going to be taken to court for defaming a Pembrokeshire housing association and its subsidiary organisations. The site master takes Jac seriously as an interesting 'investigative' blogger.

My impression is that the site master is a nice person who is sticking up for the wrong person out of naivity. The fact is that Jac has outpourings of what one disaffected reader quoted by Phil Parry calls 'poisonous bile.' Anyone can become the target.

He has made all sorts of wild accusations about randomly chosen people in the public eye, and also a variety of organisations. It's likely that this is a manifestation of a troubled psyche, and that the people and bodies targeted have done nothing wrong at all.

If all those who read his blog were aware of that, he would do little harm. It's disturbing that even nice people are now being manipulated into seeing him as some kind of martyr.

The site master acknowledges they don't really know if Jac has libelled the housing association or not, but asks plainitvely 'Is Jac the only bad man here?'

Jac is certainly a hateful and dangerous man. Whether he is bad is a question for a philosopher or a psychiatrist. It's like asking if the Yorkshire Ripper was mad or bad.

I don't think Jac is a witting wrongdoer as he probably believes what he says, himself. But that the people at the housing association have done whatever he's accused them of, is extremely unlikely.

It might actually be quite a good thing if Jac is taken to court at last. If psychiatric tests were demanded, the court could determine if he is responsible for his actions.

It will then be established if he should be treated as a criminal or a patient. Because of the savage attacks by the state on disabled people, Jac will probably not be assigned a community psychiatric nurse or care worker.

That's tragic. It would be a boon to the public, if he had one. It should have happened years ago.

Y Cneifwr - I thought he was going to close down his blog?- also supported Jac against the housing assoication, as if he was wielding the sword of truth as Jonathan Aitken would say. Jac himself made a comment underneath, saying he looked forward to answering critical content on his blog.

If that had really been true, he would have changed a lot since he deleted a post from me that made the outrageous claim that cripples are human. Of course, he hasn't really changed at all.

'Granville' posted underneath:'You're a hypocrite, Jac o' the North! You said you welcome critical comment but you deleted a critical contribution from me, while leaving those that pat you on the back. You just can't take criticism can you?'

Jac had a condescending reply which started, 'Calm down, Granville'. I couldn't be bothered to read the rest of it.

Jac is not exactly a hypocrite in my view, although he does behave like one. It seems to me that a hypocrite would be aware of the contradictions in their behaviour, but Jac has no self knowledge. He doesn't know why he behaves as he does.

A site called 'Sovereign Wales' has a tag, 'Jac o' the North Housing in Wales.' Apart from this detached tag, I don't think it referenced Jac at all. Its style was sober and serious if a bit over anxious, hyper vigilant in fact.

It wanted investigations into all sorts of things including health risks caused to children by nuclear power sites. That might be quite sensible. But it also complained about the alleged risks of MMR which it really thinks might cause autism.

It also reproduced a video about how 'our children are totally vaxxed.' It might have been sensible to worry about MMR in the early years of the century when the facts were not in. But we now have sufficeint information that MMR is not linked to autism.

It's also disturbing that the site gave the impression that vaccines in general are bad. There were also allusions to 'common purpose.' We may be straying into deep conspiracy theory territory here.

In pursuit of knowledge about the latest scandal, I briefly clicked on Jac's blog, something I once said I'd never do again. And I have to give him some credit.

When Dafydd surfed his site, he was disappointed to find that it was long winded and boring. Jac had managed the rare feat of being a bore and a black sheep at the same time.

I have to say he's spruced up his style. It's much punchier, much easier to read.

And in a way, it's funny, for instance when he refers to some named individual as a 'twat' for no obvious reason. This is vulgar abuse, not defamation and it is not actionable.

But I think I was laughing at Jac, not with him. Whether he's libelled the Pembrokeshire housing association I don't know yet. But it's almost certain that he has, as that is what he does with just about everyone he mentions.

He has a negative attitude to most regeneration schemes. He just takes it for granted they're bad. To say the least, he has paranoid ideation.

He also makes savage attacks on just about everyone. This is a terrible policy for a person who is fearful that everyone is out to get him and who also 'can't take criticism.'

With this kind of behaviour, he is inviting criticism, and he's also making it inevitable that some people will hate his guts, and will indeed have it in for him.

It's not possible to prevent him behaving like this, except perhaps by brute force. It is a psychological fact that those who are most critical of others, are the least able to take it when criticism is reflected back at themselves.

That's just a fact of life. It would be good if the sting and the libellous content could be removed from Jac's site without affecting the unintentional funniness. But it's often the ludicrous insults that make it so funny.

Just because he's comical, don't make the mistake of developing a soft spot for Jac. If he finds out who you are, you'll be the next one on his hit list. He's funny but lethal.

To give an example of Jac's hilarious MO, he said 'I don't think anyone has complained about [a certain public body] yet, so I decided to do it.'

It's not that he'd had bad service or that anyone else had. No, it was precisely because there had been no complaints, that he thought complaining was well overdue!

I saw on TV yesterday a cripple in a wheelchair playing tennis with a 'normal' person. It was only as recently as the 80s that I read a piece in the papers about a teenage girl being banned from public tennis courts for being disabled, and she had only a slight limp.

Today, I saw a person in a wheelchair at the Eisteddfod in Ynys Mon. Jac will think the world is coming to an end. Only recently, he was narking about the housing association taking him to court. He said that at least it was only for defamation not deformation.

Of course it's much worse to have a distorted limb that to be a mentally disordered serial fantasist and trouble maker. William Shakespeare had another opinion. He said, 'None can be called deformed but the unkind.' But in my view, it's not useful to use the word 'deformity' as an insult at all.

Over at Llanelli Online, somebody has Jac's measure at last. Their inbox has been jammed with accusations from Jac about the connections between different people at Cardiff Bay.

The editor noted that Jac looks nothing like the avatar we see on his blog. He is much more sinister. The editor notes that he once dined with Jac while several other men beat the shite out of each other.

He notes sardonically that Roger Moore might have shuffled off this mortal coil but the writers of thrillers are still with us. He gives a link to Jac's site but won't endorse anything on it. When he reads the wild allegations made by Jac, he can't work out if he is completely bonkers or a genius.

He says, 'We leave that to you, dear readers.' When I first told Dafydd about the problems I'd had with Jac, Dafydd said slowly and patiently - as you do with a slow learner - ''Jac o' the North is a loony. That's why he puts up these posts.''

As a proponent of disability rights, I'm not endorsing the stigmatising language. And I am not a psychologist. But I do think that Jac has serious mental health problems.

The tragedy is that he causes so many problems for other innocent people. You don't have to be mentally ill to suffer from mental illness. A good number of people are suffering at second hand from Jac's mental health problems.

I've followed the link. Jac searches for muck and corruption in the property development world. He doesn't have to have a strong case or any evidence at all to begin with.

It sounds as if he finds Poles and Jews - or should I say 'Israeli crooks'? - sinister. I found out coincidentally that he has at least one grown up child and is also a grandfather. OMG! Does he currently have a wife? How does she put up with him?

I'm not saying there is no corruption in the building trade. Far from it; it appears to be endemic. A virtuous builder who can find? His price is far above rubies..

But what we have here is Jac taking the name of a person in the public eye, it might be in connection with a housing association, and putting it through the computer search system until he finds what looks to him like a link, be it ever so tenuous, imaginary or irrelevant, to someone with a Polish or Jewish surname. That is proof positive of infamy in Jac's idiosyncratic world view.

It is entirely consistent with what we know of Jac that he has negative feelings for East Europeans and, of course, Jews. There is a continuing argument online about whether Welsh nationalists in the past also had anti-Semitic leanings, and whether Plaid Cymru ever had any links with 'Action Francaise.'

O M Edwards, for instance, has been mentioned as an anti-Semite, I don't know with what justice. It is only fair to note that people can change. So one or two Welsh nationalists may have expressed the unthinking anti-Semitism that was once ubiquitous in European culture, but were shocked into examining their mindlessness by Nazi atrocities, and put it all firmly behind them.

Tim Evans was angered and somewhat upset by racist attitudes to immigrants expressed by Welsh nationalists at the Llanelli Democide and Railway Strike Centenary Event. I know Jac was present. I don't know if he was one of the culprits.

At Cilmeri that December, one of the people who had been on the march, rose to his feet in the Prince Llewelyn pub later, and began to sing about Jews and Auschwitz in a celebratory, triumphalist way.

I was surprised into exclaiming to Dafydd, ''Oh, if they're going to sing this racist shit, we'll have to go!'' We did.

Jac was probably present, but he was definitely not the culprit this time. The person in question became known to us as 'Bogbrush' in honour of his hairstyle. Strangely enough, he had also been on the Llanelli march, and was seen holding a red flag and giving a clenched fist salute!

A policewoman I discussed it with later, agreed with me about how surprising this was. I discussed the incident with the police but was too soft to make a complaint. I'm a pussy cat.

Strangely enough someone who has appeared on this site under the pseudonym 'Wayne Flamenco', was in favour of persuing Bogbrush with all the force of the law. He spoke entusiastically about 'nailing shit.'

It's just as well for Wayne Flamenco that I'm not as keen as he thinks I should be, on nailing shit. Otherwise he'd have faced questioning from the police about the time he nearly catapulted Dai and me down a staircase with several badly aimed punches.

I know Dai thinks the Bogbrush incident may have been intended for himself. After all, he was once stoned and left bleeding outside a synagogue by obnoxious kids. He had no connection to the synagogue. He was just walking past it, but combined with his appearance, it was enough to set them off.

I don't really know if Bogbrush was getting at Dai as I can't read the former's mind. But it is possible. It's always easier to believe in something that has happened twice.

Cheddar Man, a British ancestor of many of us, had blue eyes and dark skin, which would be an unusual sight today. It's not what Mendelian genetics leads you to expect.

Fair skin didn't come in until after farming. Cheddar Man was an indigenous Briton. Is he one of the indigenous inhabitants that people like Nick Griffin and Jac o' the North feel solidarity with? Or is he one of those incomers they want to bugger off back to Africa?

I have long been aware that Jac is oblivious to objective facts, and just gets angry or irrelevant when they are put to him, but another racist person had the good manners to listen politely when I expounded the then current idea that fair skin in Europe is an evolutionary adaptation to weak sunlight which protected us from rickets.

He graciously claimed to find the information 'interesting', but even if he did, it didn't have much effect on accumulated years of knee jerk racism.

I've been left speechless by some of my relatives' denial of obvious facts, and their claim that 'evolution is a myth.' These are my biological relatives. The people who brought me up, didn't appear to be very bright, but they would not have denied the reality of evolution.

My adoptive mother did become cross once though, when I carelessly let slip the idea that the human race had originated in Africa. I was amazed that she hadn't heard this before.

It was the first thing we learnt in history - not biology - in secondary school. I had taken it for granted that she would know all about it.

She moaned in a minor key that her school history books had said said that these islands were peopled by folk from Europe. ''Of course, they were'', I exclaimed in exasperation, ''but those people had ancestors who came from somewhere else! We're now talking in terms of millions of years!''

What I didn't know was that the 'out of Africa' hypothesis did not exist when she was at school, and she would not have heard of it since, as she had no intellectual curiosity. In her day Piltdown Man was still thought to be genuine.

Of course, she was getting shirty because she didn't really like 'blacks', and didn't want to think she was descended from them. The news hadn't sunk in for everyone of my generation either. I remember a boy at school shouting at me for saying such a stupid thing as humans evolved in Africa. Years later I was challenged outside a pub on the same subject.

I don't think biologists or school history teachers bothered to tell us whether or not our ancestors were still dark skinned when they arrived in the British Isles, probably because they didn't know. But now we do.

Cheddar Man is great great ... uncle of the History teacher at Cheddar school. They tested mitochondria.

We were black THAT recently???

PC insists that race is a social construct with no genetic component. Therefore Cheddar man did not have black skin. Nobody ever has had nor can have black skin. That's PC.

I only learned out of Africa in the 80s Robert Ardrey and Elaine Morgan.

Until recently, I subscribed to the view that we became white or at least lighter within a few generations of arriving in Europe. I believed the story that evolution went into overdrive to make us white.

This story was put around by Dr Alice Roberts who scorns the merman hypothesis as uninteresting. She showed her TV audience twisted and distorted skeletons of people who had had rickets. She expounded that the sunlight is so weak in northern Europe that we wouldn't have been able to make vitamin D if we hadn't gone white.

You have a distorted pelvis with rickets. Babies could never have made it out of their mothers' wombs. We would have gone extinct.

Now they say that we had enough vitamin D in our diets until we gave up hunting and became farmers.

I'm amazed you didn't hear about the 'Out of Africa' story until the 80s!Was it the early 80s that you were reading Robert Ardrey? I introduced you to Elaine Morgan in 1987.

We had a good laugh over 'The Descent of Woman.' How long ago it seems!

It must have been in September 1978 that I was introduced to the 'Out of Africa' narrative in our first ever history lesson in secondary school.I don't think our history book was new off the press. It had probably been in use since the early 70s.

Without giving much thought to the subject, I had assumed that 'Out of Africa' was as old as Darwinism. I still think Darwin may have favoured 'Out of Africa' himself, but those who followed him did not.

David Attenborough's 'Life on Earth' was aired on TV in either 1978 or 1979. Didn't that say we came from Africa?

It just seemed logical and obvious to me that we must be from Africa because that's where our nearest cousins, chimps and gorillas live. I didn't know about bonobos then.

Orang utans live in Asia but they are not as closely related to us. The only alternative is that we did come out of Africa but did it before we became human.

Why, I've heard you talk of 'Africa where us Niggaz comes from!' I thought you were sound on the subject.

Roger says he never heard of 'out of Africa' till the 80s either! I said, ''Well, where did you think we came from then?'' He had thought humans emerged serendipitously all over the world, possibly independently of each other.

He later amended this to ''We didn't know so we didn't think about it.'' Liz told me about African Eve in 1985 or 1986.

Yes, I'm afraid this thread is popular because Jac is such a well known enfant terrible. Tipyn o aderyn yw Jac!

I'd like to take some credit too, but I don't know if I can. I can take credit for at least one new subscriber as I recommended the site to a friend.

I don't suppose we would become black again if we reverted to a hunter gatherer life in Europe but we would probably become extinct! I suppose the 'out of Africa' theory - it's now really too strong to be a mere hypothesis - was given support by the discoveries of fossilised humans by the Leakeys, although of course, some of them were human species other than Homo Sapiens.

DNA evidence has totally confirmed out of Africa. We can find this out with our own humble selves for a few pounds.

Roger had his y chromosome DNA tested for ancestry. I had my mitachondrial DNA tested at the same time. They followed differing meandering routes back into the past, but they both came back to Africa. And it would be the same for any human being on earth.

I look back with nostalgia to 2012, so long before the Salisbury spy poisoning. In 'Pussy Riot Hypocrisy', it was possible for Alwyn ap Huw to make out a case that Russia was no worse than any other country.

I became caught up in a protracted argument with him on the subject. I did think he was wrong but I don't think I was entirely convinced myself that Putin was a ruthless murderer of his own people.

What is more, it hadn't yet sunk in for me that the UK also kills its own people through organisations like Capita and Atos. I said that we had our faults but we were a liberal democracy.

Jac o' the North, of course, stuck his oar in, to express his hero worship of Putin in a way that sounded crazy to me. Whether he admires him all the more for poisoning people I don't know.

But I would like to castigate the 'friend' of Sergei Skripal and his daughter who picked them up at the station the day before they were poisoned. He has an even more cavalier attitude to illness and disability than most people. He is worse than Jac.

He gave an interview in which he solemnly said that he believed the spy and his daughter should be allowed to die. They were obviously never going to be anything but vegetables.

I thought, ''You cheeky bugger! What do you know about the case? Are you a neuro-surgeon?''

A few days later, Yulia Skripal woke up, and she is now speaking lucidly. Will this be a cautionary tale? Will it teach people not to sound off arrogantly on subjects they know nothing about? No, of course it won't.

Gwyndaf who attends perhaps at least one Welsh class a day in the Torfaen and Newport area has been described as a 'hero' for keeping the language alive. Welsh is his first language. He comes along to elucidate things for others.
James Maloney described on a local website , how Gwyndaf treated learners with infinite 'patience.'

Call me old fashioned but I think this is preferable to phoning people up to say ''I'm going to do your fecking head in'' or damaging their cars. But it's not that Gwyndaf can't be a bit sardonic.

Last Saturday he met someone who had come to polish his already fairly adequate Welsh. ''Are you from the North?'' he asked. ''No I'm from the South'' said the new member. ''Roland is from Llanelli'', I put in.''Oh Llanelli! A paradise!'', said Gwyndaf.

The actor Robert Evans later said to me ''He was speaking tongue in cheek, wasn't he? I was in Llanelli recently, and it was quite rough.'' I consulted the internet to find out what has been going on recently in the town where I grew up.

Over the last 42 months 38 people have died from using heroin in Llanelli. A trial has recently closed at Swansea Crown Court after a long investigation into a conspiracy to saturate the town with Class A drugs.

My adoptive father must have been bitterly ashamed of the reputation the town already had when he died there in 2012.He had been stolidly working class but it was respectable working class.

What has happened to the town and why? With his conspiracist 'us and them' attitude Jac o' the North has no doubt that all the trouble is caused by outsiders. It's quite true that there was a conspiracy to bring 'misery' to the town and some of the culprits were residents of Liverpool. Other were from North Wales!

But equally local people were up to their necks in the conspiracy. The Daily Mail, which always focuses on femmes fatales, highlighted Frances Powell, a native, who had flooded the east of the town with heroin. The judge thought it especially hypocritical that she had been a pallbearer at one of her victim's funerals.

This is true but she has brought no more misery to the town than Capita which has the hypocrisy to claim to be about 'health and wellbeing.' Somebody on the Daily Mail message board decided to enjoy a bit of 'pram face' shaming. They mocked her for being a grandmother at 42. But you wouldn't need to get off to an unusually early start to achieve that. My own real grandmother first became a grandmother at 34.

Somebody else said 'there's Wales for you.' This was the mirror image of Jac o' the North's prejudice. He thinks it must be caused by outsiders.

Somebody underneath took them to task saying it could happen anywhere. Yes, it could have happened anywhere.

But there is a reason why Llanelli is more vulnerable than other places to the kind of conspiracy that Operation Ulysses has now uncovered. There are 'more broken hearts in Llanelli'. It's a former industrial town which has lost its language, its purpose and its heart. It's a centre of great social and familial disintegration.

I'm not saying that it would have been better off when it had the 'opium of the masses' as a distraction from reality. But at least the chapels provided social support although at a cost.

The war on drugs has failed. We need a new approach. Jac o' the North has nothing worthwhile to contribute to the discussion on what should replace it.But perhaps Johann Hari has.

When people accuse the Welsh language campaigner Angharad Tomos of hating English she gives it to them straight. She is widely read in English literature and loves it passionately. 'It's not about hating anyone.I hate a system that disregards other people's way of life.'

What made her become an activist? Tryweryn, the bailiffs taking away the Beasleys' furniture, the way the local culture and language were derided and undermined in a school where Welsh was the first language of almost everyone, the lack of official recognition of the heniaith, the backtracking of the Conservative government on a promise to deliver a Welsh TV channel.

Her headmaster was unimpressed when she demanded her O level certificates in Welsh. He said she'd end up in prison. She did.

There is no women's prison in Wales. The other inmates looked at her blankly when she said what she was in for. ''What's Welsh?'', they asked. She showed them a book in the language. They said, ''What the hell's this? I can't understand a word.''

''No, that's because it's a different language.'' ''Yeah, but I can understand Paki girls talking and Afro. You're different.''

Angharad was rather upset by their ignorance but also began to be aware of her own. Most of the women were in for petty theft or drug offences. She had been absorbed by the language issue, but now she became aware of class barriers, and saw the importance of socialism for the first time.

That's what I always say. Freedom is indivisible.

Angharad gave an interview for a book called 'Here We Stand.' The echoes of Martin Luther are unfortunate in my opinion, but it was a compilation of interviews with women activists.

Another contributor was the actress Liz Crow. She is a disability rights activist who gets a load of shit as all disabled people do,but was able to put her views forward as a person in the public eye.

Disabled people have always been misrepresented, but now the press has turned against us. The government has redefined disability as a form of scrounging. As Liz said, we are now not even the deserving poor but the undeserving poor.

And we are getting poorer. Liz too, will face ESA and Atos/Capita assessments by bastards. For the incongruity of it, she has posed in a Nazi uniform in her wheelchair on a plinth in Trafalgar Square. A captioned photograph asks, 'Resistance: which way the future?'

Liz holds herself straighter in public these days. She is afraid of looking weak, lest she is attacked. She is careful to meet people's eyes, to humanise the disabled in every way. As an advocate, she does not want to let the side down.

This is interesting. The compilers of 'Here We Stand' spoke to someone who found Welsh language activism and socialism compatible. They also saw the fight for Welsh culture and the fight for disability rights as part of one large struggle for human freedom.

Jac would vehemently dissent. He has said that he hates socialism.

He doesn't want cripples to have the same rights as other people. There is no point in questioning him on how this ties in with his alleged status as a pro-Welsh activist. He is the sort of person who attacks the questioner instead of answering the question.

But if he was the sort of person who responded rationally, we might ask, how can you campaign for the rights of one group while simultaneously advocating keeping other people in subjection? And if you do that, how the hell do you expect anyone to take your own grievances seriously?

He would not be able to answer the question.

Some idiot referred to Welsh activists as 'obsessives'. That is exactly how Jac sees disability activists.

He doesn't feel solidarity with them. It would never occur to him to think they were in the same boat. He can't feel empathy with them.

Sadly, a lot of otherwise functional people are apparently incapable of feeling empathy with disabled people. They don't really perceive us as human.

But I think Jac is even more far gone than this. I suspect he can't feel empathy for anyone.

Apparently, empathy first came in in a big way in the Age of Enlightenment when Western people first began reading novels. They lived vicariously the life of the hero of the novel, and this developed in them an ability to put themselves in someone else's shoes.

If I was the magistrate dealing with Jac, I would probably sentence him to a course of novel reading and follow this up with compulsory attendance at thinking classes.

But I don't really suppose it would do any good. Never have I felt more sure that a person was a hopeless case.
